The View is Always Worth It

Liz kicked my butt all the way up 3100 feet
this morning during a fantastic lung burning quad searing Saturday mountain run. Then I kicked her butt all the way back down!

Running with a buddy who is faster than you is a good thing to 'build' into your plan. Luckily for me, my buddy Liz happens to be a freakin mountain goat that defies gravity. And so, I keep on chasing her...

Outside the old cabin on 'Cabin Fever' - if you listen close you can hear the creek water raging downhill right past our feet...

Our friend, the bridge! After too many lake crossings to mention, this bridge on the final km of trail (Tomato Creek) was a gift from above:)

Liz driving it over a skinny bridge on the final stretch of Cabin Fever...

Loot inside the old cabin!

One of many lake crossings where we had to improvise on the trail...
The view on the way up Rudy's...high above Tomato Creek and Comox Lake...

You are never too tired to squeeze in a few pull ups...

What will Sunday bring?
