Chocolate Peanut Butter Power Balls

Happy Monday!

Who wants a 'treat' to start their week?  I am more than happy to give you the recipe for these amazing chocolately power balls because I know that you will absolutely LOVE them.

BUT...there is one 'trick'...you need to do something in return for me...

You know that bowl of brightly coloured, brand name covered, crinkly packaged 'stuff' you have hidden in the cupboard?  Yes, you.  Go get it.  That's right.  Go right now and grab your stash.  You can do it...

Got it?  Now take it outside and dump it in the garbage.  Yup.  Right now.  You can do it.   I know what your saying to yourself..."but that's a waste!"...yes it is...that is a waste that you do NOT want to put in your own body.  It is a waste that belongs in the, well, waste basket.  You know it's not food.  It's just a bunch of chemicals and processed crap that looks like food.  Go on...

Did you do it?  GOOD FOR YOU!  Doesn't that feel great!  Dumping crap into the garbage rather than in your body woohoooo!  One for you!  Now read on and go make these yummy Chocolate Peanut Butter Power Balls and you will never look back!

I promise you it will all be worth it when you swap out those 'treat's with these soft and chewy and oh so delicious natural power balls...  Let me know what you think once you try them!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Power Balls
Yum.
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (or other nut / seed butter)
1/2 cup dates (or figs if you prefer less sweet)
1/2 cup cooked quinoa (or dry rolled oats)
2-3 tbs cocoa powder
2 tbs chia seeds or hemp hearts (for omegas and crunch!)
1/4 tsp sea salt
1-2 tbs water to combine
2-4 tbs dark chocolate chips

Combine first 5 ingredients in a food processor, adding the water 1 tbs at a time until mixture comes together.  Finish by pulsing in the chocolate chips gently.
Roll into 1-2 inch balls and freeze on a tray or store in the fridge for a quick and healthy power snack!
